The Clock App Reviews
Ive been using The Clock for ages. Terrific app! It consolidates a lot of useful information into a single Menu Bar extra. One click on my Menu Bar lets me see time zone info as well as a useful (and easy-to-read) calendar. Time zone info can further show business hours and holidays in that zone, and its easy to relabel time zones to be easier for you to identify (example: rename "Los Angeles" to "U.S. Pacific Time”). The author is great about maintaining this app. The only small thing Id like is if the displayed calendar icon included both the day and date like [defunct] MagiCal did. Otherwise this is a pretty perfect application for me.
The best world clock available. Ingenious design and functionality. I deal with four time zones on a daily basis. The Clock has made my life so much easier.
Works flawlessly
I love it. It takes the simple clock and makes it better. Quick and easy to use. Love it.
Perfect! Use The Clock constantly for personal and work
Thanks!
Well designed and extrememly helpful
Having this on the top menu is extremely helpful for quick peeks at different time zones, calendar, etc.
I’ve had this app for years and people always ask me about it when I pull it up to look at what time it is in some other part of the world. With all the customizations and features, this is the best world clock. No need to look further. It looks simple because it’s so well done. The only feature that could make this even more awesome is to show calendar events and/or let you create meetings on your calendar.
Fantastic!
This is esy to use and set up, chnage etc. The best clock app out there.
I work for a large corporation in one of their satellite offices across an ocean and many time zones. We have offices in multiple time zones around the world. This app has been super helpful to keep our HQ’s time zones in my menu bar, and to easily plan meeting times with the simple Meeting Planner Slider. Such a great app, worth every penny.
I am impressed with the new features of the Clock App and how it sync’s with the Calendar App to provide quick access to planned meetings under OS X, these features truly make the Clock App a vital part of my multiple desktops and can now act as an overlay to productivity application and program in-process work. The new swipt features also work well for quick when planning meetings or services for my multiple properties and busy life. I am a very satisfied customer and now ensure that the feature set is not rendered inoperable when updates are issued for OS X or the Calendar App, which will hinder access to the functionality I have come to depend on.
With the option to hide the menubar in El Capitan, I figured the only thing I really want there all the time is the clock. So I figured this clock floats, and this will be the one. Well, it floats, but it doesn’t move! What’s the point to that? Who needs it up there in the most valuable real estate on the display? Let me move it to the bottom corner or somewhere and make it real small. Nobody thought of that? Aside from that, the menu items are very unintuitive, as are the instructions.
I’ll give it 4 stars - seems pretty nice, but the fact that 1/4 of the design includes a scroll bar for me to adjust the time of the country I need seems pretty counterintuitive. I can move that by accident and not even know it. The whole point is to know the times in other countries without a hassle…why should that be determined by a volume-like scroll bar???
Not enough cities
It is frustration. I don’t understand why the most of famous cities are missing. Can it be called ‘The world Clock’ for business?
New to OS X. Annoyed by default clock. Googled better clock for OS X, this was first result. Looked at it, clicked buy without looking at the price. NEVER GOING BACK, I LOVE THIS APP!!! If you’re a windows user who missed the more detailed clock, this is for you. P.S. It’s better than the windows clock in most regards. P.P.S. Buy it!
